Customize Post-purchase upsell offers

Post-purchase upsell and Thank you page use the same condition in the General settings.

General Settings

  • Show for all customers:

    • Show this funnel for all customers: All customers who place an order automatically get a chance to purchase the post-purchase upsell without needing to meet any further requirements.

  • Product conditions: Configure the post-purchase upsell to display based on the products included in the customer's order.

    • Enable product trigger: The order must contain specific products that you have pre-selected in the settings.

    • Enable product tag trigger: The order must include/exclude specific product tag(s) that are pre-selected.

    • Enable product exclusion trigger: The order must not contain those products chosen in this option to be able to qualify.

    • Enable variant name trigger: The order must include/exclude specific variant name(s) that are pre-selected.

Product conditions
  • Customer conditions: Configure the post-purchase upsell to display based on the customers placing the order.

    • Enable customer trigger: Offer only displays/hides from specific customer tags which are pre-selected in the setting.

    • Enable customer order count trigger: The number of the order that customer has purchased must

      • More than

      • Less than

      • Equal

      the value set in the box.

    • Enable customer language trigger: Only those customers using specific languages can take advantage of the post-purchase offers.

Customer conditions
  • Order conditions: Configure the post-purchase upsell to display based on the order value or/and order quantity.

    • Enable order value trigger: Order value should be more than/less than the number set in the condition.

    • Enable order quantity trigger: Order quantity should be more than/less than the number set in the condition.

  • Location conditions: Configure the post-purchase upsell to display based on the location of the order owner.

    • Enable shipping country trigger: The post-purchase upsell offer will only be displayed for orders where the shipping country matches the one specified in the settings.

  • Active dates: Post-purchase offer only shows up during a period of time set by specific date/time range.

    • Enable date/time trigger: You don’t need to select both options—choosing just one is enough to proceed.

Post-purchase Upsell

Post-purchase upsell offers for customers when the checkout payment is completed.

Each funnel allows you to set up two Upsell offers (Upsell #1 and Upsell #2) and one Down sell offer.

Upsell #1

Add Offer: Click this button to select a product for the first post-purchase upsell. If the product has multiple variants, only one variant can be chosen.

Edit Offer: Customize the offer layout by adding widgets, including:

  • Timer: Enable a countdown timer for the upsell offer, making it available only for a limited time. Once the timer expires, the offer will no longer be valid. You can change the:

    • Minutes

    • Seconds

    • Timer text context

  • Upsell product:

    • Product selection: Display the product you chose. If you want to replace it, click the Change product button to implement it.

    • Discount settings: Set up the automatic discount based on fixed amount or percentage.

    • Shipping: Decide to give your customers a free shipping or charge them a fee when purchasing the upsell product.

    • Price break down setting: Customize the way prices are showing

      • Show subtotal and total

      • Show shipping and tax breakdown

      • Hide shipping and tax line if equal to zero

    • Product title: Being able to customize a new title for the upsell product rather than using the default one.

    • Product description: Add a description under the product price with an option to align the text.

    • Image: Change the image size and decide to show a gallery of other variants' images under the main picture.

    • Layout settings: Set up how the columns and image are displayed on the post-purchase offer page.

      • Two columns - Image left

      • Two columns - Image right

      • Single column

  • Simple text: Add a custom text section below the post-purchase offer page and adjust:

    • Content: Write your own message

    • Size: Choose the text size

    • Text Tone: Set the text color based on the tone you want

      • None: Black

      • Critical: Red

      • Warning: Yellow brown

      • Sucess: Green

    • Alignment: Left/Center/Right

Simple text
  • Callout banner: Create a custom banner to encourage customers to purchase the offer. Adjust the design and message to make it more compelling by:

    • Title: Header of the banner

    • Content: Write your own message

    • Size: Choose the text size

    • Alignment: Left/Center/Right

    • Border: Show the border or not

    • Background: Show the banner background or not

Callout banner
  • Divider: You can insert a divider line at the bottom of the page and customize its width to match your design preferences. This divider is used to separate the upper elements and the images.

Divider - Extra thick
  • Image: You can add an image to the post-purchase page to enhance the offer, showing under the divider.

    • Supported formats include .gif, .jpg, and .png.

    • Adjust the image using the Alignment and Size section to fit your design needs.

  • Image with text: Similar with the image, but you have an option to add the Title and Content to the image too.

Upsell #2

Upsell #2 will be shown only if the customer accepts Upsell #1. This creates a seamless flow, encouraging customers to add even more value to their purchase.

The settings and customization options for Upsell #2 are identical to those of Upsell #1.

Downsell

Downsell will be shown only if the customer declines Upsell #1.

The settings and customization options for Downsell are identical to those of Upsell #1 and Upsell #2.
