# Popup old version Migration Notice & Shut down plan

We are phasing out the **Popup - Old Version (Legacy)** to introduce the improved **Popup - New Version**. This guide will help you transition your campaigns smoothly before the **February 06, 2025** deadline.

## **Key Dates to Remember**

1. **January 08, 2025**: You will no longer be able to create new campaigns using the Popup - Old Version.
2. **February 06, 2025**: The Popup - Old Version will be fully disabled, and all existing campaigns using it will be deleted.

## **Migration Options**

### **1. Manual Migration (Available Now)**

You can begin migrating your campaigns manually to ensure no disruption occurs.

#### **Step-by-Step Guide to Manual Migration**

1. **Review Existing Campaigns**

   * Go to the **Offers** tab
   * Identify campaigns currently using the **Popup - Old Version**.

2. **Recreate Campaign Logic in the Popup - New Version**
   * Click **"Create"** and select the **Popup - New Version**.
   * Rebuild the same campaign logic, including:
     * **Customer buys, Customer gets**&#x20;
     * **Active dates**&#x20;
     * **Show offer widget on**
3. **Adjust Styling and Translation**

   * Use the **Styling** options in the new version to match your store's theme.

   * Review and update the **Translation** settings for any custom text.

4. **Test Your New Campaign**
   * Preview the new popup to confirm everything works as expected.
5. **Deactivate or Delete the Old Campaign**
   * Once the new campaign is live and functioning, you can safely delete the old campaign to keep your dashboard clean.

### **2. Auto-Migration (Coming Soon)**

We are actively working on a feature that will allow you to **auto-migrate** campaigns from the Popup - Old Version to the Popup - New Version with a single click.

**What to Expect:**

* All campaign logic will be automatically transferred to the new version.
* After auto-migration, you will still need to:
  * Adjust the **Styling** to ensure it matches your theme.
  * Review and update the **Translations** to ensure accuracy.

1. Begin manually migrating your campaigns to the **Popup - New Version** today.
2. If a campaign is no longer needed, simply delete it.
